Andrea is a multidisciplinary designer with a background in spatial design. She graduated from Temasek Polytechnic with a Diploma in Interior Architecture and Design, before beginning her career in the commercial interior design industry, where she worked on workplace and office environments. Through this experience, she developed a strong understanding of how people interact with space, while building skills in concept development, spatial planning, and client-centred design solutions.
What We Hold Between Us
Hello, I’m Aveline, also known as Tomato! I am a transdisciplinary social designer with a background in visual merchandising, graphic design, and playground design. My practice focuses on designing with communities through participatory and ethnographic methods, engaging communities with their lived experiences and everyday practices.
ToGather Design Lab
I am Celine, a designer‑researcher with a foundation in interior design, and my practice extends into emotional and communal storytelling. I develop interventions that preserve voices and evoke reflection, exploring how everyday food sustains memory and strengthens community ties.
Wen Xuan is a designer driven by curiosity about how things work behind the scenes; within the systems, services, and environments people encounter every day. She is interested in applying her design skills across multiple fields, using a human-centred approach to shape more inclusive and thoughtful experiences, and better ways of creating them together.
Hello! I’m Dave Yu Warsanta, an international student from Surabaya, Indonesia. Living overseas has shaped my interest in social design and user experience, as it made me more aware of how people adapt and navigate different environments.
Seeing Eye to Eye: Improving Eye Health Literacy Through Better Patient-and-Doctor Communication
Designer through brain, visual communicator through heart. With both, I believe that we can create improved experiences and systems with communication, engagement, or simply through connection of the human experience.
A Chronic Misalignment
I am a designer driven by a simple, albeit slightly "cheesy" conviction: Design is the medium, but love is the outcome. As a graduate of LASALLE’s BA(Hons) Design for Social Futures with a background in Product Design, I bridge the gap between high-level speculative thinking and tangible, 3D prototyping. My practice is rooted in community co-creation and a deep-seated desire to amplify voices, solve friction, and extend grace through thoughtful intervention.
Walking with the Commeownity
Iffa Taheera is a social and multidisciplinary designer with a background in design communication. She is interested in ways of seeing and being, with visual design and marketing experience across sectors including non-profit organisations and the secondhand retail industry. She has worked across multiple mediums, ranging from websites and social media to print, within diverse teams. Through these experiences, she has engaged with different communities, gaining insight into their everyday lives.
Secure by Design, Sustainable by Nature: Rethinking Prescription Packaging to Reduce Pharmaceutical Waste
Sustainable Medicine Design Lab
Hi! I’m Inda, and I have always felt deeply connected to design as both a discipline and a way of understanding the world. I believe that design is never neutral. Through the systems, objects, and experiences we create, we actively shape the world around us, while those same environments in turn shape the way we think, behave, and relate to one another.
PlayRoots: Imagination as a Catalyst
Sustainable Medicine Design Lab
Having developed a passion for image-making, fashion and storytelling early in life, Bridget has always been drawn to all things creative. With a background in visual communication, she began her practice driven by aesthetics, before pivoting to focus on user-centered social design.
In Spaces Between: The Starline Project
Masha was born a creative—nurtured by her musical upbringing, it all naturally led her to creative expressions like short stories, visual art, and songwriting. With a background in Communication Design, she entered the DSF program with a clear objective: to seamlessly integrate her passion for the creative arts into a more meaningful career—bridging the gap between her desire for artistic expression and impact, and the realities of a corporate world.
Empowerment Within
Fuelled by the world’s peculiarities, Nigel questions the familiar and reframes what often goes unnoticed. Working across photography, videography, and design, he uses visual storytelling to engage with sensitive and often overlooked subjects, challenging social norms and opening up alternative ways of seeing.
Hi! I’m Nur Aliyah, a social designer interested in how design can bring people together. I design not just for, but together with communities through conversations, observations and shared experiences.
My work often begins with listening, whether it’s engaging in conversations with seniors, children, or anyone in between. I’m drawn to how different perspectives shape the way we live and understand everyday life, and how design can create spaces for these voices to be heard.
Syamimi is a social designer. Her practice centres on understanding how people relate to one another in everyday spaces, and how design can act as an invitation for connection. She explores themes of intergenerational interaction, children-led participation, and care within neighbourhoods.
Working through fieldwork, prototyping, and facilitation, she translates lived experiences into playful and participatory interventions that bring people together and challenge invisible social boundaries.

Interested in how people behave within systems, Yee Jing looks at how design can better support how people work in practice, not just how they are intended to work. Her work has explored contexts in healthcare, social design with elderly communities, caregivers and coastal ecosystems, where she studied mangrove environments to understand ecological and material relationships.
These experiences have shaped a more holistic approach to problems, focusing on how people move through systems in practice, how different parts connect and where gaps or frustrations can become opportunities for impact.
Hello! Ling Wah here. I am a social designer and illustrator who enjoys bringing ideas, people, and stories together. With a background in graphic design, illustration, and UI/UX, I like to explore transdisciplinary social design, working closely with communities and responding to real-world issues in thoughtful ways.
Fang Kee is a multidisciplinary designer with a background in visual communications and social design. Sparked by her time as a graphic designer, she drew towards a design practice that sees more impact in everyday lives.
Now, her work is guided by research and socially-engaged approaches to respond to evolving societal constraints within and beyond, and translating insights into new potentialities. At the heart of her practice is a curiosity about human behaviour, connection and the potential that people hold.
Hi! I’m Dionne, a designer interested in creating meaningful and engaging experiences across various contexts. I have a background in graphic design and now trained in social and participatory design that can benefit communities.
I approach design as a research-led and process-driven practice, using hands-on methods and both physical and digital mediums to explore ideas.
