BA(Hons) Design for Social Futures Graduation Showcase 2026

Featuring works from the first graduates of the BA (Hons) Design for Social Futures program!

The Lasalle Show presents the inaugural cohort of 19 graduates from the BA (Hons) Design for Social Futures programme, showcasing work that is shaped through sustained engagement with different communities and stakeholders in real-world context.

Over nine months, the students dived deep into ethnographic, practice-led research with residents, patients and stakeholders, in the heartlands and organisational ecosystems to make sense of the assets, gaps and needs through site-based fieldwork, strategic frameworks and participatory design.

Across three thesis labs, in collaboration with National University Hospital, MakanBersama and the Yishun communities, the students glean insights through co-design processes with stakeholders, informing their response to the frictions of patient experience, sustainable medicine practice, and community building. As citizen designers, their work advocate for the voices that need to be heard when encountering real-world complexities.
